Looks Make the Man (Appearance)
Jack Knightly is a slightly above average height, with a lean but toned build. At first glance one could quite easily call him slim, which is misleading to his body under his clothes. A fact that is somewhat reinforced by what he decides to wear. Jack will nearly, always be wearing a suit of some kind form fitting enough that, it doesn't hide his slight build but baggy enough in the right places to allow him to move quite freely. While he does normal wear a tie with his suits, the are often pulled loose or simply draped around his neck casually so that he can comfortably, have the first few buttons of his shirt undone.
This somewhat scruffy nature, that he adds to the smart attired bleeds over to other facets of his appearance as well. Jack is rarely clean shaven, sporting the sprouting stubble of a bread, that he refuse to let grow much beyond that. His hair somewhat spiky, is the natural way his unkempt hair tends to fall, rather then from any sort of active effort to do so. |

Jack is a man of many part, due to the strange life he has led. One of the first thing that might point to this fact, is the fact that he has completely discarded his true name, meticulous creating and history for himself and a few other that he is linked to in order to protect them. While first impression he might seem like a informal man, trying to put on a face of formality it is a carefully cultivate persona. Knowing that such an act, lower the guard of some and cause them to underestimate him. Behind informal attitude and endearing smile, Jack true nature lurks.
A masterful actor, in truth Jack is a ruthless man much like most of those he has know all his life. In fact enjoying to inflict physical pain of other, however being a complete professional those deep desires are only ever indulged when circumstance call for them. While ruthless, he doesn't lose his calm, under duress joking and laughing as if what ever task ahead of him is simply a game, and radiating confidence easily mistaken for bravado. |

Memory Matter Most (History)
The man that would become known as Jack Knightly, had a pretty normal early childhood. Good parents, that worked too much but loved him and tried to provide for him. However like many in the world, Jack pleasant youth came to an end due to misfortune. Losing his parents, his only family to a car accident Jack was left alone in the world. Quickly put in to care, in his early teens. However Jack would never get to be one to experience having foster parents or adoption. Picking up bad habit, and certain skills to match them. The sort of habit and skills that tend to cause trouble, and eventually cause trouble to come for them.
When trouble arrived though, Jack had expected to take the hardships of it alone as he always considered that he was alone after his parent death. He was shocked though to find that he was not alone. Another orphan who had been in the same care home as him, surprisingly came to his aid against the issue that assailed him. That man was the same as Jack, and yet vastly different and as the years passed that man became his brother. Getting in to trouble right alongside him. Then came the day, that the pair decided that, the world was never going to care for them and instead decided to strike out at the world alone.
One night, the pair broke into the homes office, destroying all the files and records of who they were. Cutting themselves away from the names, and identities that meant nothing to them. Wandering, the protected each other, care for each other. Eventually taking and creating for themselves the new identities of Jack Knightly, and Rooke. Making allies along the way, as well as enemies the reinforced the history of the people they now were. Doing jobs, to acquire the resources and contacts to make a paper trail that made it seem like the two men, had always been who they said they were. The years passed, and the road to nowhere continued but eventually it came to an end. Far from there home, they settled and applied their skills, of trickery, deception and intimidation to gather all they could need to seemingly go legitimate. Schools course and firearms training, coupled with the hard fight and struggles of the streets led the pair to become bodyguards for hire by only the most select people through the contacts they had made over the years.
Thus was born the new firm.
