If none of the basic items are to your liking, you may create your own items. These items can be anything you wish, though they must fall into one of the item slot categories, except for Accessories, which can be any miscellaneous item you want.
Create a thread or post with the name of your item as the subject. If you wish to make a general item purchase thread, you may do so as well.
You may purchase stats for $100 each. You must have a minimum of +1 in any stat for your item, because we're not going to look at blank items, while the maximum is +5 at the initial purchase, no exceptions.
Powers are not allowed to be placed at the initial item purchase, but they can however, be added on at a later time, alongside an upgrade. To put a power on your item, the cost is $1000. This means that a power can cost at least $1000, but can be slightly higher depending on the nature. The power you choose must be basic, an example of a rejected power would be your sword is able to split into multiple copies that surround you.
After making a thread or post with your purchase, tag a staff member in the Shoutbox and wait for them to approve your purchase. In most cases, your item will be approved, unless it's ridiculously over-the-top, in which case, expect staff to send you back to the drawing board. Once it's been approved, provided you are able to afford it, and staff has deducted the money for the purchase, you are able to add your item to the item table and the boosts to your stats.
Your item can be upgraded to increase the stat boosts given, however, you may only fully upgrade your item to give +10 in total. Once an item is fully upgraded, you cannot increase the boosts any further, unless you receive a reward from major events or story arcs. Each additional stat point you buy will cost $200, and if you wish to purchase a power for your item, it will cost $1000 on top of the stat costs.
Basic items can be upgraded and have a power added just like custom items.
